Getting Started with PDaaS Console
The PDaaS Console is a web-based interface for managing identity and access in your organization. This guide will help you get started with the console.
Signing Up
- Navigate to
https://console.pdaas.io/signup - Fill in your name, email, and password
- Create your organization (a unique slug will be generated)
- Verify your email with the 6-digit code sent to your inbox
- Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Download your recovery codes
Password Requirements
Passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Email Verification
After submitting the signup form, you'll receive a 6-digit verification code via email. The code expires after 10 minutes. If you don't receive the code:
- Check your spam folder
- Click "Resend code" (available after 60 seconds)
- Verify your email address is correct
MFA Setup
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all users. During signup, you'll:
- See a QR code - scan it with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
- Enter a test code from your authenticator app to verify setup
- Download your recovery codes (10 one-time use codes)
- Store recovery codes in a safe place
Important: Recovery codes are your only way to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
First Sign In
After completing signup, you'll automatically be signed in. For future sessions:
- Go to
https://{your-org-slug}.pdaas.io/signin - Enter your email and password
- Enter your MFA code from your authenticator app
- Click "Sign In"
Remember Me
Check the "Remember me" option to stay signed in for 30 days on trusted devices.
Console Layout
The console consists of three main areas:
Top Bar
- Organization Logo: Click to go to home dashboard
- Search: Global search (keyboard shortcut: Cmd/Ctrl+K)
- Account Switcher: Switch between accounts in your organization
- Notifications: View system notifications
- User Menu: Access settings, sign out, and profile
Sidebar
- Home: Dashboard with overview and quick actions
- Identity: Manage users, groups, policies, and service accounts
- Organization: Configure organization settings and accounts
- Security: View audit logs, manage sessions, and MFA tools
- Developer Tools: API Explorer and documentation
Content Area
- Breadcrumbs: Current location in the console
- Page Title: Current page name
- Actions: Primary actions for the current page
- Main Content: Page content (tables, forms, dashboards)
Keyboard Shortcuts
Cmd/Ctrl + K: Open global searchEsc: Close modals and dialogsTab: Navigate between form fieldsEnter: Submit forms or confirm actions
Browser Support
The console supports the following browsers:
Desktop:
- Chrome 90+
- Firefox 88+
- Safari 14+
- Edge 90+
Tablet:
- Safari (iOS 14+)
- Chrome (Android 10+)
Mobile: Read-only support for critical pages (audit log, user details)
